The 80%
of the solar energy is infrared, and the
80% of it releases 10-20 micron waves. The
element that benefits the survival of life
form is the sunlight.. In the sunlight,
there are visible rays, UV rays, and infrared
rays (far-infrared). The UV has sterilizing
effects and infrared rays are essential
to human life. If energy is applied to the
material molecules that construct the human
body, it stimulated cellular breeding and
mitosis, resulting hormone production and
conditions for growth, which proves that
it is essential to human life. The rays
between 4 micron and 1000 micron are called
far-infrared. There are UV rays, gamma rays,
x- rays, infrared rays, and microwave rays
in a light. UV rays, gamma rays, and x-rays
waves are smaller than 0.4 microns, which
is invisible to the human body. Infrared
rays and microwave rays are bigger than
0.75 microns, which is too long to be seen
by the human eye. The infrared rays
are classified into near infrared (0.75-1.5
micron), mid infrared (1.5-1.6 micron) and
far infrared rays (5.6-1000 micron). Infrared
rays is an energy wave not seen by the human
eye, and is the longest form of light (mov-04.htm)
and is capable of invading every kind of
material or human body. A far infrared ray
is capable of entering the human body up
to 40mm depth, and stimulates cell division,
resulting in rise of body heat. It can counteract
against low temperature and is capable of
heating an object directly; it is the necessary
form of light to the human life.
