[Dry / Hydro-Sauna]

 

Dry and hydro saunas help you maintaining pleasant body conditions, enabling it to function properly by alternating between hot air and cold water.
Directions:
¨ç Wipe off any moisture from your body with a towel and make a cold towel by dipping it in cold water. Take the cold towel with you into the dock.
¨è Take a seat and place the cold towel over your head.
¨é When the towel becomes warm, sit up in the chair for one minute to help normalizing your blood circulation, then step out of the dock.
¨ê Cool down your body after stepping out of the dock.
¨ë Alternate between dry and hydro saunas, repeating the above procedure for 1-4 times. Promote your blood circulation by using the foot bath, followed by half body bath and full body bath.

 
   

[Warm Bath / Hot Bath (Half Body Bath / Full Body Bath)]

 

The SpaPlus baths are kept at appropriate temperature of 38 ~39¡É for warm bath and about 42¡É for hot bath.
It is recommended to use the warm bath before a full bath and in between using sauna and cold bath. There are steps installed around the bath, where and you can enjoy a half body bath by sitting on them.
Half body bath exerts only the minimum pressure to your heart, which is a safe method of bathing for a weak person as well as for people with high blood pressure, heart disease, gastro enteric disease, gallstone, menstruation pain, lumbago, and sleeping disorder.

   
   

[Cold Bath]

 

Cold bath is used in between sauna bathing or hot-cold alternation bathing. The average temperature of a cold bath is about 20¡É.
Extremely cold bath (16¡É) is also available for functional use.
It is better to move around while in a cold bath because it acidifies our body fluids. Submerging your whole body including the head in the cold water after using sauna also makes you feel very refreshed. It is best to use the cold bath for a short period of 1-2 minutes.

 
   

[Foot Bath]

 

Footbath is generally used for the purpose of recovering from swelling or fatigue in foot area.
Your veins in your skin shrink and blood pressure increases rapidly when you enter a cold bath after sauna. Footbath is used to help your blood circulation in peripheral veins before using the warm bath.
It is recommended to expand your peripheral veins without any pressure to blood circulation and heart function by using a footbath prior to advancing into other bath facilities. It is constructed to the height of shin and the ultrasonic nozzles generating high-pressure in the bath stimulate your foot.

   
   

[Cheongju (Rice Wine) Bath]

 

Cheongju bath relaxes your skin, while the warm water and alcoholic content expand your pores and clean out impurities. It is also highly effective in recovering from fatigues.
The water-soluble substance in Cheongju evens out your skin formation and is highly moisturizing. The natural elements of Cheongju supply nutrients to your skin and substances of amino acid, vitamins and inorganic materials help recovering from old or fatigued skin. SpaPlus' Cheongju Bath is not of the general structure in which alcohol has already mixed into the water, but it has been designed so that the customers can directly see the sight of rice wine being poured into the bath.
To use Cheongju Bath, firstly submerge your whole body in the bath for 3 minutes then step out to dry your body. Repeat the process for about 3 times for superior effect.

 
   

[Grass Bath]

 

Grass sap is generally made by collecting and freezing the smoke from carbonized oak, from which the liquid created is then filtered. Grass sap releases a large quantity of far-infrared rays, densifying water molecules.
Bathing in grass bath smoothens your skin and is effective as therapeutic treatment, for skin infections and cold.
To use Grass Bath, firstly submerge your whole body in the bath for 3 minutes then step out to dry your body. Repeat the process for about 3 times for superior effect.

   
   

[Herbal Bath]

 

Ginseng contains a large quantity of saponin, panacen, polyacetylene and nicotinic acid. The herbal bath activates your cells, strengthens your body mechanism, promotes mental calmness, stimulates metabolism, prevents skin aging and relieves symptoms of stress as well as fatigue.
To use Herbal Bath, firstly submerge your whole body in the bath for 3 minutes then step out to dry your body. Repeat the process for around 3 times for superior effect.

   
   

[Bubble Acupuncture Bath]

 

Acupuncture Bath facility is installed in the warm bath and is designed to be used for a longer period of time. (About 10 minutes) It does not exert much pressure on cardiopulmonary system, while assists to benefit from water pressure as well as the stimulation of warm water. It provides the effect of calming down, pain relieving and hypnotizing.

 
   

[Waterfall Bath]

 

In Waterfall Bath, streams of water are dropped from a height to massage the body, providing effects generated by warmth and water pressure. The water temperature is about 38¡É. When massaged for 3-5 minutes, the body area becomes red, indicating improved blood circulation from the heat and pressure. It is effective on conditions of obesity, neuralgia, backache, contusion and distortion. It also has a relaxing effect from the anion exchange as the water bubbles spread on your body.

   
   

[Hot-Cold Alternating Bath]

 

This bath is designed for the customer to alternate between knee level baths of 40¡É and 20¡É for 5-6 times. The jade stones on the bottom of the bath also stimulate the foot. This slow alternating stimulates your peripheral veins to circulate blood and relieve fatigue. The foot fatigue is caused by the venous blood being stuck at your foot; the stimulations can cause the blood to circulate without causing any pressure to the heart or blood pressure.

[Hinoki Bath]

 

'Hinoki Bath¡¯ is a bath made of pine woods older than 300 years. The scent of the wood makes it feel like having a bath in the woods.

 
   

[Fruit Bath]

 

Fruit Bath is effective in making your skin smooth and repeating relaxation and contraction. Therefore a person without resilience can regain resilient skin. Fruit bath is also effective against dry skin.

   
   

[Children Bath]

 

The children bath is shallow, making it safe for the children to play. The wall paintings also reduce children's boredom.
